Website development cost in Tashkent has no single answer: for the same "we need a website" request, a studio quotes one amount, a freelancer another, and a site builder offers a monthly plan. Below: what the price is made of, local specifics, how to compare quotes and where to save. For a price table of all services, see the full 2026 price overview.
The short answer
The price depends mainly on the type of site: a one-page landing page, a corporate site with several sections, an online store with a catalog and cart, or a web service with user accounts. Our starting prices and timelines:
| Service | Syncro price | Market range | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing page | from 1.5M UZS | — | 5–7 days |
| Corporate website | from 4M UZS | — | 2–3 weeks |
| Online store | from 8M UZS | — | 3–5 weeks |
| Web service and portal | from 12M UZS | — | 4+ weeks |
The final price and deadline go into the contract once the technical brief is agreed and don't change afterwards. Compare types on the website development services page.
What the price is made of
Each line in an estimate is a stage of work. More stages and more complexity mean a higher total:
- Analysis and brief — goals, audience, page structure, feature list. Skipping this usually means rework later.
- Design — adapting a template costs less, a custom design for your brand costs more. Mobile layouts are planned separately.
- Development — pages, admin panel, forms, payment and other integrations.
- Content — texts, photos, product cards. If they aren't ready, writing and uploading them becomes part of the scope.
- Testing — different phones and browsers, forms and payments.
- Launch — domain, hosting, SSL, analytics and search engine setup.
Local specifics for a Tashkent business
A "universal" offer often misses local needs. Each of these should be a separate line in the estimate:
- Click, Payme and Uzum payments. This is how customers are used to paying. Connecting them takes an agreement with the provider and payment status checks — separate work.
- Uzbek and Russian. Bilingual means twice the text, proofreading and a language switcher. Sometimes Uzbek is needed in both Latin and Cyrillic.
- A .uz domain in your name. It should be registered to your company or sole proprietorship, not to the developer, or getting it back later can be hard.
- Google Maps and Yandex Maps listings. Many customers in Tashkent search via maps. A business listing linked to the site takes little time but is often forgotten.
- Telegram as a parallel sales channel. Many customers message you on Telegram after seeing the site. Forwarding inquiries to a Telegram group or online store orders to a bot is a cheap, useful add-on.
Why quotes in Tashkent differ so much
Three prices for the same task is normal: each covers a different scope and level of responsibility. A site builder or template is cheapest at the start, but there is a monthly fee, the platform limits what you can do, and moving away is hard. A freelancer usually quotes mid-range, but the result depends on one person's availability, and a written contract and warranty aren't always included. A studio costs more: the price covers a designer, a developer, testing, a contract and a warranty.
So compare what is inside the total, not just the total. Ask both contractors the same questions:
| Question to ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Which pages and features are listed in the estimate? | A vague "Website — 1 unit" line turns into "that wasn't included" disputes. |
| Is the design custom or template-based? | One of the biggest price differences. A template is fine, but you should know up front. |
| Is connecting Click, Payme or Uzum included? | Payments are often left "for later, at extra cost". |
| Who prepares the second language and the content? | Whether you or the contractor writes the texts affects both timeline and price. |
| Whose name will the domain, hosting and code be in? | If everything is yours, switching contractors later is easy. |
| Are the price and deadline fixed in the contract? | With a verbal deal, the total can keep growing. |
| Are bugs fixed for free after launch, and for how long? | Without a warranty, every fix is a new invoice. |
Recurring costs
Some costs continue after launch; include them when comparing quotes:
- Domain — renewed yearly, paid directly to the registrar.
- Hosting or server — monthly or yearly, depending on site size and traffic.
- Payment commission — on each online payment, at your bank's and provider's rates.
- Support after the warranty — updates and changes, from 500K UZS with us.
We fix bugs free for 12 months after launch, so first-year support is usually only for new features.
Where you can save
- Pick the right type. For one service or a promotion, a landing page is enough; for several sections about the company, a corporate website.
- Launch in stages. Keep only what drives sales in version one and add the rest later.
- Prepare the content yourself. Ready photos, prices and company text speed up the work.
- Write the brief in advance. A clear task means no buffer for uncertainty in the quote.
- Don't rule out a template. A well-adapted one is often enough for a small business.
A simple rule: if a contractor can't explain a line in the estimate in one sentence, don't rush to pay for it.
Red flags
- A price after one message, with no brief, and "we'll see later" for the rest.
- The domain or hosting is registered to the contractor.
- No contract, or one without deadlines and scope.
- No access to the admin panel and code after handover, or an extra charge for it.
- The full amount up front with no paperwork.
- A price well below other quotes with no explanation why.
